New York, NY, September 20, 2016 – Cargo Cosmetics created excitement in the Kohl’s community surrounding upcoming launches through a series of informative and interactive sessions at the retailer’s annual Beauty Expo.

As a platinum sponsor of the event, Cargo trained 1,250 Kohl’s Beauty Advisors on best makeup application tips and effective sales practices. The three day event consisted of 24 breakout sessions lasting 30 minutes each in which 50-65 attendees watched live demonstrations and presentations from senior sales and marketing staff on the Cargo brand. The breakout room décor followed the “Chill in the Six” winter wonderland theme in honor of Cargo’s Holiday 2016 Toronto Collection. Complete with an oversized snow globe with Toronto’s skyline as the main focal point.

Cargo Cosmetics introduced Rogelio Reyna, their new Director of Sales, Artistry and Education to lead the trainings. Rogelio joins the brand after 15 years as Director of Artistry and Education for Latin America and the US Hispanic Market with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. He has worked with high-profile celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker and Britney Spears.

Additionally, Cargo sponsored a “Beauty Mingle” dinner and hosted a general session featuring a celebrity makeup artist highly regarded in the beauty industry and followed by millions on social media. The 30 min general session served as a mini master class led by the Instagram famous makeup artist and was attended by all 1,250 Beauty Advisors.
