New York, NY, January 27, 2015 – Cargo Cosmetics Sponsors Multiple Receptions at The 2015 Sundance Film Festival Makeup Touch-Ups Provided at Exclusive Invitation-Only Receptions Including the ICM Partners Cocktail Party New York, January 27, 2015 – Cargo Cosmetics was on-site at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival at The St. Regis Deer Valley hosting an interactive makeup station offering actors, film producers and directors mini-makeovers, touch-ups and a sneak peek of the new Spring 2015 collection. On Sunday, a brunch reception was held for Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s “The Mask You Live In,” a film that explores society’s narrow definition of masculinity and unveils what can be done to make a change. After the premiere, Jennifer stopped by the Cargo booth to hear about the brand’s latest launches and innovations before receiving a quick touch-up. Actor, Richard Kind and Caroline Lagerfelt, best known for her roles in Gossip Girl and One Life to Live, also visited Cargo. That evening, Cargo co-hosted the cocktail reception for “Z for Zachariah” starring Margot Robbie and Chris Pine. Post screening, celebrities dined on appetizers and small plates including smoked salmon and cucumber wrapped in petite waffle cones and goat cheese-stuffed jalapeno peppers, while tasting wine courtesy of Beaulieu Vineyard. With a steady flow of traffic, the Cargo display area and makeup stations were again the hit of the party offering an inviting area for attendees to stop by for touch-ups and learn more about the brand. Last night, Cargo hosted a party exclusive to ICM Partners, one of the world’s largest talent agencies which represents creative and technical talent in the fields of motion picture, television, music, live performance, branded entertainment, and new media. RJ Mitte of Breaking Bad fame, Rex Lee, best known as Lloyd on the hit show, Entourage and Missi Pyle, most recently seen in Gone Girl, stopped by Cargo and Missi got a full touch-up using the new spring line. When visiting the display area for all three receptions, guests were introduced to the latest launches and shown product demonstrations for the HD Picture Perfect CC Cream, Matte Top Coat, Magic Brush and new Magic Eye Brush. The products received an enthusiastic response with many asking for retailer information and taking photos for social media. The looks of the night created by the brand’s team of makeup artists included smoky, sultry eyes using the new Essential Eye Palette and bold, matte lips created with the Matte Top Coat – both of which were included in the guests’ gift bags. In an effort to encourage attendees to recreate the looks at-home and interact with Cargo via social media, each guest left with an event gift bag including social media handles and hashtags.
