New York, NY, November 20, 2016 — Mally Beauty collaborated with celebrity makeup artist, Spencer Barnes for the American Music Awards. Spencer created the beauty look of Julianne Hough who rose to fame on Dancing with the Stars and has since hit A-list status as a successful Hollywood actress, singer and dancer.
Spencer gave Julianne Hough an ultra-glam look exclusively using Mally Beauty products. “Working with Mally Beauty was the perfect choice,” say Spencer. “The skin perfecting qualities of their Perfect Prep Neutralizing Primer and Evercolor Poreless Face Defender created an incredibly smooth and refined palette to work on. The More is More Mascara is the best gel formula I have ever worked with!”
Spencer began creating the look by applying the Mally Beauty Perfect Prep Neutralizing Primer, blending a small amount gently over her entire face. Next, he applied the Mally Beauty Evercolor Poreless Face Defender to lock in the primer and perfect her pores. Applying a mixture of light and medium concealers under her eyes, he evened out her skin tone. Then he applied the Mally Beauty 4K Ultra HD Fantasy Foundation to set everything into place.
Spencer began her eye look by applying the Mally Beauty Evercolor Shadow Stick Extra in Timeless Taupe onto her lids and in her creases. Then, he highlighted under her brow arch and inner corners of her lid to draw light in using the Shadow Stick Extra in Moonlight. He applied the Shadow Stick Extra in Smoky Quartz from her lash line to the center of her lid and in Chocolate Diamond on the outer edge of her lid. He used Mally Beauty Believable Brows in Taupe to fill and shape.
To define the eye and add more highlight, he used Mally Beauty Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner in Pink Champagne, the Gel Waterproof Eyeliner in Onyx to the upper lashes and then into the lower and blended. He used the Mally Beauty Evercolor Gel Waterproof Eyeliner in Lucky Penny to add warmth to both the top and bottom lash lines. Julianne’s lashes really popped with the Mally Beauty More is More Mascara.
To contour her face, Spencer used Mally Beauty’s Shimmer, Shape & Go in Lighter. He applied the blush to the apples of her cheeks. Then, he applied the highlighter on the tops of her cheeks near the outer corners of her eyes, bridge of her nose and above her Cupid’s bow. He applied the contour stick to the hollows of her cheeks, sides of her nose, jawlines and temples. To add warmth to face, Spencer used the Mally Beauty Evercolor Poreless Face Defender Boost, applying it to her forehead, hollows of her cheeks, bridge of her nose, neck and jawline.
Spencer applied the Mally Beauty H3 Lipstick in Sheerly and added the Mally Beauty H3 Lipgloss in Tea Rose over the lipstick for added luster and shine.
Finally, Spencer finished off her face look by applying the new Mally Beauty Glowing Goddess Luminizer to the same places as the highlighter for an added dramatic effect, as well as the arch of her brow.
