New York, NY, January 6, 2011 – TPR Holdings announced today, the hiring of beauty industry veteran Neil Katz, as special advisor, to be effective February 1, 2011.

Mr. Katz will be actively involved in formulating strategy across the entire TPR consumer portfolio and will also assist TPR in evaluating acquisitions and other new opportunities. “Neil brings an overwhelming group of talents to TPR. There is no doubt that his experience, consumer understanding and worldwide contacts will help our brands and companies immensely,” said Brian Robinson, TPR President.

Neil Katz began his career in the beauty industry in 1977 at Revlon, where he went from Director of Market Research & Sales Forecasting to President of the Beauty Care Division. Mr. Katz then led the Liz Claiborne prestige fragrance division as President of Liz Claiborne Cosmetics, establishing brands such as Curve, Mambo, Lucky and Candies which grew from $60MM to $200MM under his leadership. Mr. Katz also served as President and CEO of Gemini Cosmetics, Inc. where he created fragrance brands for KISS and Tommy Bahama. Most recently Mr. Katz served as the CEO and Chairman of the board of Parlux Fragrances. During his time at Parlux, he created fragrances for Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Queen Latifah, Marc Ecko, Nicole Miller and Josie Natori. In 2009, WWD recognized Neil Katz with the Beauty Biz Award as Innovative Marketer of the Year.
